Last night Nick and I went to an orientation for PEPS (Program for Early Parent Support). It's basically an organization that pairs you with parents in your neighborhood who have babies close in age. Then you meet weekly while the babies are young and often these groups continue to get together as their children grow. Several friends have recommended PEPS to us, and they have all formed great friendships from it. PEPS is only in the Seattle area, and it makes sense seeing as so many of us are transplants. At the orientation, only one couple was native to Seattle.
